We are passionate about creating and installing truly green solutions, and our carbon reduction efforts start at home.

Our modular living wall systems are made in the UK, and we do our best to select our suppliers in a way that is beneficial to the environment. Each of our custom-made solutions based on nature helps the environment and reduces carbon emissions.

Our climate pledge

Greeningup pledged with the UK Business Climate Hub to be carbon neutral by 2030.

We’ll act in the following areas and join CO2nstruct Zero to:

  • Provide options for low-carbon design even if you are not asked for them.
  • Proposals to include carbon assessments.
  • Carbon-efficient design and implementation.
  • Maintain an environment-friendly working environment.
  • Systems that are prefabricated elsewhere and delivered in kit form.
  • Data on the environment and the materials are shared among suppliers.
  • Verify the sources of your products and prioritise using local vendors.
  • Improve operations using data-driven procedures.
  • Make use of product and packaging materials that are FSC-certified and recyclable.
  • Modify the heating and cooling timings, temperatures, or turn it off entirely.
  • Make use of electric cars wherever it’s feasible.

Where we are unable to reduce emissions, we will use natural solutions to offset our carbon footprint.

About the SME Climate Commitment

The SME Climate Hub provides any business with less than 500 employees with the opportunity to publicly demonstrate its commitment to climate action by signing the SME Climate Commitment.

Making the commitment means that your business will start to take immediate climate action to:

  • Halve greenhouse gas emissions before 2030
  • Achieve net zero emissions before 2050
  • Disclose progress on a yearly basis
